Both. We stock current Chubbsafes models such as the Senator and Proguard ranges, alongside professionally reconditioned Chubb classics like the Nugget, Pacific, Treasury, Tasman, Guardian, Reliant and Wentworth. Reconditioned Chubb safes offer outstanding heavy-gauge steel security at a fraction of the new price.
Can you service, repair or open my old Chubb safe?
Yes. We service and repair all Chubb models across Auckland, including lock upgrades from dial to digital, combination changes, hinge and bolt-work servicing, and safe opening if you are locked out. Many older Chubb safes are worth restoring — they were built to standards that still hold up today.
How much is my old Chubb safe worth?
It depends on the model, size, condition and lock. Sought-after models in good condition can hold real value, and we periodically buy quality used Chubb safes for reconditioning. Send us photos and dimensions and we can give you an honest assessment.
Are old Chubb safes still insurance-rated?
Many older Chubb safes pre-date modern EN 1143-1 grading, but insurers will often accept them based on their construction and our assessment after reconditioning. We can advise the realistic cash rating for any Chubb model we sell so you can confirm cover with your insurer before buying.
